Im Kelly, Mummy to James, I am the reason behind everything we plan to do for grieving parents and families. After James was born still, I found locally there was a lack of support and practical ways of remembrance for our babies, hence how The James Foundation came to light. It’s my honour to be able to offer help, remembrance and guidance to grieving families.
Primary Administrator, Safeguarding Lead and counselling skills advisor.
I’m James, also known as Jimmy, proud dad to baby James. Losing James and experiencing the pain of stillbirth opened my eyes to how limited the support and remembrance options were for families like ours. From that heartbreak, The James Foundation was created, a way to honour our son and reach out to others facing the same loss. It means a great deal to be able to help grieving parents find comfort, connection, and meaningful ways to remember their little ones.
I am a mum to 3 young children and a Team Assistant, tasked with coordinating meetings, events, and ensuring the smooth operation of the UK office. With over 15 years of experience in administrative and executive assistant roles, my adept multitasking and organisational abilities make me a valuable addition to the team. The James Foundation holds a special place in my heart and I hope my role as a trustee for this amazing charity will assist in providing the support, help and care for grieving families as they learn to navigate their way through heartbreak.
I am a mother to three boys and have nearly 20 years of experience as a trade mark paralegal ensuring the protection of intellectual property rights for businesses worldwide. Parenthood, together with loss in my own family has instilled me with empathy and compassion, shaping a deep understanding of the importance of support and care, especially during challenging times.
Driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, I was drawn to the role of trustee for this amazing charity to help provide solace, support, and guidance to those navigating loss.
I am the mother to one teenage son and have 25 years work experience in corporate law, specialising in international event management and compliance.
Balancing a busy work and home schedule can be challenging and demanding, however nothing can be as challenging as living with bereavement, and in particular, navigating life after the loss of a child.
I am hoping my role as a trustee for this required charity in our community, will help, support and provide much needed care for grieving families, as they learn to live with their heartbreak.
I am trustee at The James Foundation. My background is as a journalist in the investment industry, which I have been doing for the past 18 years. I have recently set up Kenway Content & Consulting to support businesses looking to enhance their multimedia content and communications with the press. I wanted to get involved with The James Foundation after seeing the devastating and painful experience my friends Kelly and Jimmy went through losing baby James. I want to make a difference to support those going through similar tragic circumstances and am determined there will be a more support for our local community to remember their lost loved ones.
I am truly honoured to serve as a Trustee of The James Foundation and to support the meaningful work it does within the community. I am passionate about helping create opportunities and positive change for individuals and families who need it most.
As a business owner, I bring practical leadership experience, strong organisational skills, and clear understanding of financial responsibility and sustainable growth. In my role as trustee, I am committed to supporting the Foundation’s vision, strengthening community relationships, and helping ensure it continues to grow and make a lasting impact. I am proud to contribute my time, experience, and dedication to helping the Foundation thrive.
